Curse like as a swear word? Or curse like a gypsy woman trying to ward off Count Orlok?

I threw a Halloween party a couple of months ago and for it a friend brought over string lights that we were able to use for decoration as they had a "halloween" setting. They weren't bad but not perfect as they weren't wi-fi enabled so no app nor smart home config possbilities (it only had a physical remote). So I've wanted to get new ones that were wifi enabled and alas! there were ones at Walmart: Monster LED Strip lights
well...I can safely say this was one of the most annoying purchases I've ever made in terms of it being a waste of money (thankfully only $30, but still). The colors are dreadfully inaccurate (the yellow is green) and while you can "customize" the pattern it's effectively worthless since the colors are so off and they fade into one another but the way they fade doesn't make any sense. Also there's a "music mode" that should listen to the beat of whatever music you're listening to but it clearly is just a random pattern that has nothing to do with the music
tremendously terrible

We got a couple of Govee light stands on prime day from Amazon. I don’t know if they make light strips like you’re looking for. I’d imagine they do, but we’ve been super happy with them. Great lights, lots of settings. My daughter loves the music/sound settings.

Yeah govee has LED tape strips I have above my cabinets and around the bottom of my sons bed to illuminate it. Wifi controlled and same settings as you mentioned. Honestly probably even more customizable than the ones you had. You can get down to each individual LED color.

I saw Govee and they looked pretty good; I'm thinking about getting them. which type do you have? I was considering the base model. doesn't need to be too fancy, I really just want an actually reactive music mode at this point lol

We have a couple of these: https://a.co/d/cOVhUZo
I'd imagine if we get some light strips, they'd be the ones you posted. It'd be nice because we're familiar with the app and how to control them and they'd all go into one spot.

Two this morning:
Pre-sliced bagels. Don't bother pre-slicing them. Doesn't matter how you do it, I still need to grab a knife and cut through the rest. It doesn't ever open right if I just try to open it with my hands, which I believe is the intent for pre-sliced. Plus, it's never centered right. Just stop, you're not helping anyone.
Speaking of not helping anyone... if someone else has the yield sign, they should yield. You should not yield. Getting on the highway, I have a long ramp. I got up to speed and realized there's zero room for me to get on where I'm at. It's pretty much bumper to bumper. But I see a gap about 3 cars back that I can slide into, so I slow down. I have the yield sign, that's what I'm supposed to do, right? Dude on the highway sees me and he decides to slow down. I appreciate the thought, really I do, but I cannot assume that everyone driving is going to be nice. I have to assume they're all aggressive dadholes. You slowing down and yielding, just makes more of a headache for me. Just stop, you're not helping anyone.

These 'helpers' need to be fired into the sun; it's a system and they're gumming it up.
Similar to people on a road that stop for folks in parking spots/lots. Keep moving.

As per letting people in on the highway, it depends on the context (my speed, their speed, my position)
If they’re coming up towards the end of the on ramp and they’re clearly agreed of meI’ll let them in because them slowing down too much could be a hazard for other cars in the on ramp/them merging into the lane with a very slow speed

Boulevard of the Allies inbound, where someone in the right lane inevitably slams on their brakes to allow someone from the side streets to turn right onto the highway.

I will say, there are instances where helping while driving is appreciated. Huge, long line of traffic that I'm trying to turn into when it's slow/stopped and someone lets me in. Yeah. Appreciate it. When it's moving traffic and you're the last one in line and you stop. Nah. You're just slowing both of us down.

Oh... Pitt fan. I see the confusion. You've never been to an event where over 110K people are leaving a stadium and associated parking lots.
