I'm 48 and still 100% in stocks. I have about 50% in large-cap funds, 35% in mid- and small-cap funds, and 15% in international funds. All of the mutual funds are "growth" or "growth and income" funds. I have two or maybe three funds in each category. Like for large-cap I have an S&P 500 index fund and I think a T. Rowe Price mutual fund. My firm's 401(k) plan offers a pretty wide selection of funds in many cartegories, and there are also bond funds and even some real-estate fund options.

Yeah, the last few days have been rough. Still, looking at the last few months... it's been a terrific ride.

My bonus check hit yesterday so the 401k purchase should've gone in after hours last night.

I bought into an S&P 500 Index Fund about two weeks ago, so this tracks.

Tech is getting crushed already in PM. Apple is down 14 and still moving in that direction.

The markets severely overreact to ****, but the Fed has really made a mess of things.

It also went up from like 175 to 225 in a month.

This is just pulling back from the absurd jump the market recently took.

I have a decent amount invested in Apple, so I'm good with it moving back into the $225+ range. :)

Pissbaby and his cult screaming about all of their 401ks tanking is laughable considering the run the market has been on for what, two years now? He said the market would tank if Biden won the election, and all it did was gain like 25% in the first few years.

I'm feeling pretty good about 96% of my investment account being parked in that Money Market Mutual Fund. The other 4% is in an S&P500 Index fund that I plan to cash out this fall to splurge on birthday stuff.

It's pretty ridiculous how "1000 POINT DROP!!!!!" gets all the headlines like it's 1997 or some ****. It's a 2% drop. 2% drops happen all the time.

Yeah, looked like it might be spiraling early this morning. But then seemed to level off at the 2% range. Looks like some big traders moving out of equities.

There are definitely some things going on that could trigger a market shock (Israel starting a war in the Middle East), but whatever triggered this sell-off isn't that.
