lol, bro the whole quote was very reflective and honestly respectful while acknowledging where has grown and his advice to those that are going there. dont fall for clickbait
Irving: "When I look back on it, getting traded here, this wasn't one of my options. It wasn't like number one on my list, so when the trade opportunity got approached to me instead of going back and appreciating the Celtics history I just came in with an open mind. Just kind of like, I'm just going to go with the flow into this, but I think that was the wrong approach. Just being young. Now that I'm a little older, hindsight looking back on it, I definitely would have taken the time to get to know people within the community, talk to some of the champions that have come before me. Actually, extend myself to them instead of the other way around."
Thats a good quote.

Luka and Kyrie have a combined 14 points and Pritchard just hit a half court buzzer beater to end the first half. It's over

I'm convinced Boston threw Game 4 so they didn't have to win the championship in a shithole state.

my favorite part of a non-MIMH team winning a championship is the "congrats [insert winning team] fans!" commercial that shows ugly-ass championship merch available for sale

my MIL is a HUGE Celtics fan. even had season tickets (1 row off the floor!) when her only child and I started dating in 1995. I'm not a basketball fan but at least she'll be in a REALLY good mood for awhile.

Knicks traded for Mikal Beidges (and sent like a thousand first rounders to Brooklyn) and now have 4 Villanova Wildcats from their 2017 championship team: Bridges, Brunson, DiVicenzo and Hart

It’s an interesting team-build strategy and I don’t hate it. They should be a pretty good team. I guess we’ll see if Thibs runs them into the ground again or not

the only two names I’m familiar with in the draft are Edey and…Bronny James. I think Edey would be a good pick up for either the Grizzlies or Thunder

I’m happy everything worked out great for bub. It’s a bummer he couldn’t have stayed at Pitt an extra year but this is the best case scenario

I think the grizz thought they were drafting Bryant reeves

Like dillingham to the wolves.

Knecht will be a value added player for the lakers. His ability behind the arc will help them dramatically

That trade still confuses me. The Spurs needs help sooner than later, and they traded a #8 pick in a not-so-deep draft for a mostly unprotected 1st in 2030 and an unprotected 1st in 2031. I believe that 1st in 2030 is only protected if it is first overall. First, I didn't know you could trade picks that far out. Second, I thought if a trade would have happened, it might have been for a roster player.

I also barely follow the NBA, so my opinion on this probably isn't worth much of anything.
