I had 4 free buyout years left and am buying out Puig's 5 year contract. I will absorb the extra 1 year as a reduction to my cap this season.

Do we usually go by the Yahop trade deadline? I know i am talking to a few people about deals and none of us really knew the deadline was 8/14... is there any reason we can't extend it (or remove it completely)?

I think we can move it back. There should be a deadline at some point, but I don't think it has to be 8/14.

The latest the deadline can be set to is August 28 for some reason. I can probably put it through manually by just adding/dropping the guys. Please confirm you guys want me to do that.

Really cool to see so many teams bunched up. I haven't run the numbers to see what the feasibility is of Kraftster getting caught, but it will be very interesting to see how the top 4 pans out.

I didn't realize I was as close as I was until this morning. To tell the truth, I haven't been keeping track of my team as often as I did last year.

Man, congrats SDD. I guess I shouldn't have been so casual about declining to make any deals at the deadline. I was outside 1st place for 6 days all season. Guess there's only one day that matters.
