Latvia is always game in these tournaments. They're the most resilient people on earth. Doesn't help that Luke Hughes is out there stinking up the joint with his lackluster hockey sense...bizarre to me that he has such a different hockey mind than the other two...

Canada is in a lot of trouble...once again, they show up to this tournament without a goalie...

There hasn't been a great one since Carey Price right?
I mean who's even the best in the national right now... Jarry?

I would 100% say Jarry is the best Canadian goalie in the league

We're about 34, 35 games into the league year...five Canadian goalies have more than 10 wins...Thompson, Jarry, M.Jones, Fleury, Binnington...there are 16 goalies in total that meet that criteria...

Ok, but also you'd have to think they can do better than a guy who had a .868 save percentage in the Ontario league this season, right? RIGHT?

No. They don't develop goaltenders. Goalies in Canada are taught dumb habits or nothing at all...

Canadian goalies were (are) buoyed by getting practice shots from the best of the best. That has flatlined their overall development in the last…20 years. At least 20 years
