Read that rumor recently, and honestly wasn’t sure why Honda wanted to take on Nissan.

They are scared of the growth of China's electric auto industry. And Toyota's head start with hybrid tech.

Honda is the big dog in this, so it’s basically bailing out Nissan and Mitsubishi.

I wonder whether Honda really wanted to do this or whether they were basically roped into doing it. It would be very embarrassing on a national level for Nissan to fail, and saving face is a major motivator for Japanese culture. Might not be the only factor, but it might be a factor.

The local Honda dealership called to see if I needed help with the used cars I was looking for on their site...which happened several weeks ago.

I guess I left a cookie from their service center, which I had an appointment a few weeks ago as well. Creepy AF, but to be expected. I guess Happy Hondadays Sales aren't going well.

Got the truck right at my budget price ($5 under). Splurged for the off road package. We do enough outdoorsey stuff that it may be fun to take it off road here and there

Yeah got the hybrid/powerboost. Got the dealer to add a free liner, couldn’t get him to add the cover

Nothing for Fords that I could see, but that site wasn’t the most friendliest to use

Check back often. They load new stuff on daily.

I have a Tyger roll up cover on my truck. I wish I'd have gone with a Trifold but the roll up works fine. I think I paid under $125 on Amazon. My dad has the trifold version and it's nicer but was more money.

That’s where I was leaning, tri-fold. Also going to see if my wife’s friend can get us a discount on a diamondback

Dagnabbit. Went to change my oil, and I couldn't get the drain plug off and was rounding it off, so I stopped. I'll take it to my mechanic to deal with. My inspection is due in February, so at least I can get the inspection done at the same time as this oil change. I already have the oil and filter, so I'll just give those to him to use. I can't blame anyone else for the plug, because I was the one who last tightened it.

I figure today is probably the final day I'll have to wash the car before the end of winter, so I took advantage of the weather.

Thanks! And it is, yes, which is why I’ve gotta hand wash it. Honestly, the process I’m doing isn’t bad at all, so I can deal with it.

Come to think of it, the guys who did the ceramic coating are doing a booster in February, so they’ll be washing it again in their shop. Good timing with it being near the end of winter.
