When did the Caps start wearing the blue helmet with their away jerseys?

Not a fan of the colored/home helmets with away whites. Feels very minor league.

I can't stand the Caps period. Wifey had a beer poured on her for wearing a Pens sweater. Wifey is mostly deaf having to wear a hearing aid and a Cochlear device and I was afraid her hearing devices would short out. Luckily, security intervened before I could respond. Probably in my best interest interest too. Either way, just because the home town loses to the visiting team does not mean someone gets to enact vengeance for said loss. It was a signed MAF sweater. Then again she was a hero at the steps. LOL

Have to think it's part of a broader initiative to cut down on racial/religious insults, and while it's funny because Mennonite isn't egregious/borderline benign, you can't really ignore that one and then suspend a different dude 5 games for calling someone a Jew or derivative of that.
