He wouldn't really improve our team very much. He's been rotated out of the lineup in Detroit - a healthy scratch this year and last year at times. Wouldn't make a lot of sense for us...

Seriously, the kid is leading all Flyers in scoring, and up until their last game, they've only had 3 goals from their centers (Couturier, all in the same game)... makes no sense.

Wonder if we start seeing low-end draft picks go from Jr's to D1 instead of languishing in the E or going overseas.

We are going to see sweeping change. They should be amending AHL rules too to pretty much allow any 18 year old to play.

I’d guess the CHL will trend younger, D1 college will boom, and like you said a lot of mid to low end picks will have the opportunity to play in a different league
