This series should be fun. Also, I don't get why anybody is giving McDavid **** for this. It's the Stanley Cup Finals he's the captain and his team just went down 2-0. That's the exact type of reaction I'd want my captain to have.

The yelling at the top of your lungs makes him sound like a little kid who doesn't know how to control their emotions.

There's a spectrum between "not doing anything" and "screaming so hard your voice cracks".

I was gonna say, anyone who's played, when a coach/player does that, it usually has the opposite intended effect.

anger after a loss like that just doesn’t do anything. Like not that I’m great at it but I feel like if you’re gonna lay into the team you have to do it mid-game. Doing it after probably just annoys them

Yeah, and then you go to bed? It was at the end of the game. And again, when people yell general borderline platitudes, there's really nothing to listen to, which is probably why no one in the locker room is paying him any mind.

So dumb that the NHL season starts today for two teams, and they play preseason through the weekend.

weirdest for me was that NJ played Philly in preseason last night. I was like, are they just sending all those players down after that game?
