Nobody noticed and Beveridge actually outed himself saying it was a mistake. I believe it's mentioned a page or two back in this thread. No one had a reaction, so no penalty was issued. I think he should have to forfeit his last rookie pick perhaps.

I've been trying...I've sent emails, posted here - nothing. I don't know where Hammer disappeared to.

The rookie draft is flying by. By the time we finish, some of these players might not even be rookies anymore.

Seriously, I've given up chasing people. If they can't remember there is a draft to finish...I can't babysit.

Maybe we should institute a 12 hour clock or something - make your pick or lose it.

Sorry. Feel like this might be directed at me. I think this is fine. I would change that you can still make your pick; other people can go in front of you, though.

Yeah I agree about that. Especially for the rookie draft. No need to forfeit the pick altogether.

Awesome. Hammer added my first rookie pick as an FA.

And by that I meant the rookie I had intended to take with my pick for the past two weeks.

Who krafster? Does anyone want think we should force him to drop that player?

I would have thought that the team managers would be smart enough not to add rookies before the draft actually finished! This is a mess and we need a solution now to get this done.

@TheNail25 is up in the rookie draft. Please make your pick by 5 pm EST today or I will make mine and we will continue this charade of a draft with @orpchar up after that.

Refresh my memory...

Mikko Rantanen (my first rookie pick this year) started the year in the NHL, but was sent down. I can drop him and still keep his rights since he only played a handful of NHL games, correct? I am 99% sure that the answer is yes, but figured Id ask.

Yes. Until he hits 65 games played, he is your rookie. And, even over that, I believe he is your rookie until the season that he hits the 65 games played in is finished. Then, he must become a keeper, either rookie keeper or regular skater keeper.

@Kicksave, can you pin the rookie draft thread so it stays up top? I'm sending a league-wide email about this draft (again). This one has some new rules.

I'm still taking Parayko. We can decide what to do about the fact that Hammer picked him up on FA. If I have to repick that's fine, but I've been planning to take him since like 10/12 when I added him in my other keeper leagues.

I've been waiting for other feedback from the managers, and no one seems interested. I'm happy to remove him from Hammer's roster via Commissioner tools. He should not have been added as a UFA until the draft was completed.

I've sent Hammer an email asking him to drop the player. If he doesn't respond by 5:00 today, I will remove the player since he will gain stats again this evening.
