I know some people use Fan Duel, but I like Draft Kings. I post about it enough that i'm making a thread.

Good night to pick Atkinson, goal number 2 is short handed.

So i spent the most money on sevuin and benn. Neither of them do anything. I come in 5th place and turn $3 into $20. 1 point out of either and im in 3rd. If its a goal, im in 2nd. Against the oilers they get shutout. Lulz.

I've pretty much broken even playing on Draft Kings. Haven't played anything since football season ended though.

I like playing when there are 6 or 7 hockey games. Ive gotten to the point where i'll play $3 games and maybe every 10 games ill lose 6 or 7, win $20-30 once and win $6 2 or 3 times. I basically break even or maybe win a few dollars every other week. I havent had to deposit since football ended and ive made 2 withdrawals.

Football season is actually reliably profitable though.

how do these daily leagues work? do you just pick a team of people for that day and compete against everyone else?

Pretty much. Salary cap, fill out your roster, play against a couple hundred or couple thousand people. Maybe there are 400 people $3 per person and the first 75 or 80 get paid out.

Yes. You create a roster from the teams playing that night. different games have different caps and payouts, and number of max contestants.

It is fun, but I thought I'd be more successful at the hockey games, but I did nothing but lose! With real-time updates, it was frustrating watching me go from top 5 to out of the money as the night went on! I should log back on, I'm sure I have a few bucks left to play with.

I have backstrom strome and green in this game, so that even up goal is real great. 1g, 1a on the play and we extend the possibility of yet more points with ot.

Just missed out on winning in my first ever college fb game yesterday, but fortunately i was playing with house money after winning $6 on a free mlb game the day before. Im trying to decide between the traditional $12 game and a $20 game for nfl week 1.

Prefer DK for football. No kicker is huge since that's the biggest crapshoot in the land. That said both sites are functional and fun.

I mentioned it in the other thread, but part of the reason I went with FD was the exact opposite. A kicker is a product of an offense, get a competent kicker on a decent team and it's fairly reliable (Not you, Mason Crosby). A WR/RB/TE flex on the other hand can bring in all kinds of lucky/unlucky garbage.

I'm really interested to see what Yahoo can do, as they're now in the DFS game. I'm going to give them half a season or so to iron it out and then give it a try. I like the YFF interface and if I can do all my FF on one login, awesome. If anyone does give it a go, please do post a review.

When you do multiple NFL games in a weekend, do you make one solid roster and duplicate it? Living and dying based on your original analysis. Or do you hedge your selections and make each roster unique to cover yourself in case someone gets injured or has a dud game?

I usually do multiple games and will share some of the players. I like to do a game for the 15 games that start at 1 sunday and end monday then ill do one for just the 1 oclock games sunday and maybe one for just the remaining games for the week that start at 4.

I disagree. A kicker is not a product if a great offense. In fact the crapshoot of a high scoring kicker comes from an inefficient offense. For example St. Louis. Crappy offense, has to kick a lot of field goals. Indy or Packers, good offense typically not so good kicker scores.

Now you go say Julio, Green for your WRs and Hopkins as your flex that's much less of a crapshoot.

I won 50$ on saturday on CFB. Stacked the Tulsa/Florida Atlantic game I think it was.. .big points by both teams. Won another 3$ on a smaller contest.

Not sure what I'm gonna run with this week NFL wise.

I do the same as Craig.. 1 for the entire slate, 1 game for the 1pm only, and 1 for the 4pm only/.

CFB I do the same normally, 1 for the early games, one for the late games.

I've used Bovada in the past, but can't this year for personal reasons.

They were great, no issues. Then a few months after the season ended I got an e-mail saying my deposit was invalid and I owed them money. They locked my account (I wasn't using it anyway, and it was empty) so I ignored them. Got another e-mail many months later saying it was all a mistake, and they gave me some funds as an apology. So, to me, they do very well with customer service even when they have mistakes on their end.
