Coach Pete Carroll has said all along the Seahawks have no plans to rush Thomas Rawls back from last season’s broken ankle, and he again hinted at it Monday, saying “it’s still time to take care of [Rawls].” On Tuesday, the Seahawks released their first depth chart of the season leading up to their Week 1 home opener against the Dolphins. At running back, Michael is listed as the starter. The Dolphins were dead last in fantasy points allowed to running backs last season. They’ll hope for bigger contributions from Ndamukong Suh inside, and they also signed versatile DE/DT Jason Jones and acquired MLB Kiko Alonso to pitch in, but this still looks like a run defense to attack. As of Tuesday evening, the Seahawks are the biggest favorites of Week 1 with Miami as a 10.5-point dog. If all goes to plan, the Seahawks won’t even have to rush Rawls into this one, and Michael and rookie C.J. Prosise can handle backfield duties, with Michael dominating the early-down carries.
I read this from rotoworld.
I was also looking at Fitzpatrick at QB, I'm not sure why he's not getting much love. He was really good last year.
Which site do you guys recommend using for a new player? Also, if someone has a referral code or link (if that's a thing) let me know. I think I may throw $10 at it and see where it goes.
My observation is pricing is more generous on Draft Kings than Fan Duel. Fan Duel tends to be harder to fill out a "stud" lineup. I personally like the look/interface a bit more on Fan Duel.
Overall, I like Fan Duel better for hockey and Draft Kings better for football.
Won my 50/50s in both DK and FD. Have an interesting $1 single entry going in both. On DK, I'm at 4136/23500 (winning $2) with Gurly and Brown to go, so I could climb a bit there.
I put together a donkey squad...it had Dez, KC defense and Barry Garbage...I didn't even check it after the 4 o'clock games...I knew it was probably in last...

What's your point total?
138 with those to go yet. Funny, my 50/50 team at 185 would be in 75th out of 23k. That's supposed to be just a safe high floor/low ceiling lineup. Well, I guess not low ceiling just predictable plays so low separation from the field.

That sucks about Gurley. I imagine that people ahead of you also had brown going last night, but I'm sure few if any had both of them.

Ended up moving up to 1177/23500 and winning $3. Just a few points shy of getting to $4. I was really surprised how few teams had Brown. Williams really did a lot of damage for a bunch of teams that night. That late Deangelo Williams TD took me out of the $4 range and Gurley couldn't get me back in.
I like the Detroit, Oakland, panthers and the Jags offense this week.
I think AJ Green is a good big money play. Stafford at QB. Also looking at Fuller and Eli Rogers as good plays (guys whose price hasn't caught up to their role in the offense). Also wondering if CJ Anderson is a good play against the Colts.
Yeah, I agree on those offenses. Gurley could be an interesting play in that it's probably the least owned he'll be all year, but the price and matchup don't really invite one to take on that risk. I'm just taking a look now.
I really think Weeks 2-3 could be the sweet spot for having a star-studded lineup that achieves the desired level of low ownership because of overreactions to the first week. So that's where I'll be aiming for my "risky" plays this week--guys I believe in way more than week 1 indicated who might be disfavored because of one week and a tough matchup or something.
I have a feeling I'm going to really like McCown in tournaments. Baltimore's pass D hasn't been good for a while, I feel like, and they were really good last week. In a single-entry tournament (my preference), I don't see much McCown ownership, but I think he could easily return on his minimum price pricetag.

I see that, I actually made a lineup for fun to enter a tourney with. But I'm staying in the real low territory (.25 game). I also did an early sunday only (slightly higher probability of getting the top performers).
