I didn’t want to say anything beforehand but I had a root canal without anesthesia. It was at about 11 o’clock at night after a game where a stick came through my cage and almost knocked my front tooth out. It severed the nerve clean. The dentist needed to clean it out but couldn’t use anesthesia because we were the only two people in his office. I’ve never squeezed something so hard as I did the armrests of that dental chair.

STG I get a gout flare the week after I leave the doctors office telling her I haven't had a gout flare in months. I think this has happened like 3 times now

Aside from a small flare up in January post-Christmas/NYE (between the beer and red meat), the allopurinol is working wonders for me.

Well, if there’s one place where you’ll definitely catch some sort of sickness, it’s Great Wolf Lodge. You just got a head start.

We ordered pizza from Chet and Matt's down the road. It was pretty good and very reasonably priced. I highly suggest staying away from all of their food if at all possible. But it was hard to do at check in cause we didn't have a room so no where to really change easily.

We went last year. There's a pizza buffet that was like 8 bucks a mile away from there that the kids loved.

We go to the one up in the Poconos... We usually try and do a Saturday to Monday because it's so damn expensive doing Friday to Sunday

What the hell did I do to myself lol
Looks like costochondritis
On top of all of the other **** that I have going on, I can add this to the list. I imagine it's from non-stop coughing from post-nasal drip and my vocal cord stuff. NSAIDs and heating pad/cold packs seems to help.

Speaking of the latter, I get to go run on a treadmill with a scope up my nose and down my throat so they can monitor the VCD to see how bad it is while exercising. I'm sure everybody can tell how happy I am about this. One side of me is like "I'll do whatever so I can breathe normally again", and the other side is just cursing under my breath at the thought of it.

So, I've had a sinus infection over the week, got back from GWL. Was OK - but developed a coughing spell that is giving me anxiety about chest pains.

I must've scratched my eye today. I thought I got dirt in it. It's been 4 hours and it's still excruciating discomfort. I just cleared up a month long gout flare up yesterday (doc finally put me on allopurinol) and now this. It could be raining boobs and Id still get hit with a weiner.

Couldn't take it any longer and went to the ER at 11. Seen at 2am lol. They gave me antibiotic eye drops and pestered me for my $100 copay as I was discharging. I should've just stayed home.

mac5155 wrote: Wed Mar 06, 2024 4:06 pm Do you ever experience any swelling? I would get a little swollen from time to time and just chalk it up to "I ate too much salt" but maybe this was the cause
I was getting it from meds I was on. Calcium channel blockers for high blood pressure so I had to wear those compression socks. Went back to the dreaded beta blocker and the swelling went away.
Over the last month and a half-ish my dosage if the CC blockers has gone from 2.5-5-10mg with little lowering of BP. I have definitely noticed an increase in swelling in my feet now. Asked to have my med regimen changed. What's bad about the beta blocker...?

Dowj another 12 lbs since it started, despite the swelling which has to be contributing to weight. At the lightest weight I can remember since 2009ish.

I dont think it's horrible, but I'm sure it's not good either. I'm eating high protein low calorie (lot of meat) so that doesn't lend itself to low sodium. I'm also on a diuretic already.
