That'll be enough of this nonsense. Last year's trade deadline was boring because everyone got frisky a week in advance.

Why would anyone think it's a good idea to chirp a professional hockey player? I assume these same people heckle comedians. You will not win.

Marchand has done this in the past, and quite honestly, his retorts are always pretty weak. Like this one.

Better question: why would a professional athlete bother to even respond to something like that?

A.Garner is still winning that interaction. With that nose Marchand should not draw attention to anyone's face, comebacks are just too easy. Like Marchand's mom...

Jagr's garage league saga, part 6:

Just 92 seconds on the ice (2 shifts) - he got hit and left "visibly shaken" with a bloodied face. Apparently he actually choked on his tongue.

Nobody got penalized for the hit. And the poor opponent guy who hit Jagr had to issue a sincere apology so that fans everywhere don't lynch him...
Kladno won the game, 3:1.

The video of the hit is here:

Chicago fans are extremely underrated in terms of douchiness and undercurrents of racism.

Bottom line, Brooks Orpik is having one of the worst seasons we’ve ever seen during the decade-plus stretch of Ovechkin-era Caps’, and beyond that, one of the worst seasons an everyday NHL defenseman has seen over that same period. While systems and deployment are without question contributing factors, nothing mitigates the fact that the Caps are paying top dollar for what, unfortunately, can only be considered a bottom-of-the-barrel defenseman.

Brooks Orpik isn’t just the worst defenseman in the Nation’s Capital this year, he’s arguably having the worst season on the blueline we’ve seen in a decade.

And the best thing is, this was one of the most predictable things in hockey when that signing was made.
