He thought changing cars would reset his wanted level.
 I was also wondering why he didn't just drive into a paint shop

Just had $500 of junk carted off. Who knew that it costs so much to throw away junk.

How much did you have taken away? When I demo’d my shed, it would have cost me at minimum $325 for a dumpster. Found out renting a big 3/4 ton and hauling it to a dump myself was much cheaper

I did something I swore I’d never do - put up Christmas lights in November. Had to take advantage of the weather.

It was dump truck size and about 3/4 of the way full. I'm too old to do that sort of job myself.

I see nothing wrong with hanging them a little early as long as you don't light them until the day after Thanksgiving.

There’s always some random day that’s nice in late November/early December.

While on the topic, these are the lights I bought, after a recommendation from a friend: https://www.christmasdesigners.com/chri ... ights.html

Holy hell are they bright. The quality blows anything you can buy at the store out of the water.

Mine were 90% up last weekend. I love having the lights up and love the season, and it's nice to have something to look forward to when the sun sets before 5.

When I turned them on Sunday night, suddenly lights appeared at two of our neighbor's houses as well

We are putting ours up tomorrow as I have to climb up on the roof and don't want to do that once things get slippy. The rest of the yard decorations and tree will go up Friday after Thanksgiving. No lights get turned on until then.

49k for that is not bad. My wife is a teacher and barely makes that. I should tell her to pull her tits out instead

Not sure why, but a whole squadron of F-15s just flew over my house, at a pretty low altitude, too. Always neat to see.

This is exciting. I've wanted to get new lights for when I start to really get into it and lights in stores never excited me. I've bookmarked this for next year. :fist:

You're in SE PA, right? The only Eagle operators remotely close to that are all at Langley AFB.

You are all wrong. Christmas lights go up on Black Friday. Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night
