With Seinfeld arriving on Netflix, I thought I would make a thread for Seinfeld fans (and so I would have a repository to post all the YT clips I find )

*audible sigh*
I should start a Friends thread.

Love Seinfeld. But I'll just watch the episodes I have on my hard drive that are the correct aspect ratio. Unless Netflix wants to offer it in unmolested form.

I'm through season 4 i think. Started last week. It's decent still. I hate Kramer. I am 0% bothered by the aspect ratio.

Re aspect ratio
The pothole is no longer in-frame in the episode entitled 'The Pothole'.

TIL that Barney Martin (Jerry's dad) was an NYPD officer for 20 years before going into acting.

I forgot that Jerry Stiller wasn't the original Frank Costanza until I saw the first actor in a rerun. Pretty interesting to see the different performances, although Stiller is obviously perfect for the part.

Yeah, it is really jarring to see John Randolph in the original. He was perfect in Christmas Vacation, but not perfect for this role.

Cranston was brilliant on Seinfeld. Him converting to Judaism was such an absurdly brilliant plot idea, and so well done.

Watched the Andrea Doria ep last night, what an episode. Big head!

My buddy mailed me this (c/o Vandelay Industries) for my birthday. Looking forward to it.

Just watched this again last night. He was brilliant as Puddy. The clip where he is just sitting there staring at the living room wall when the phone rings slays me

Such a memorable character that it amazes me that he’s only in a handful of episodes. Growing up watching in syndication he seemed ever present from the sixth season on. Was stunned to find out that there was a two season gap between his appearances.

His greatest moment, for me, was him getting on an international flight and declining reading material, preferring to just sit and stare straight ahead.
That's right.

mrs meow and I have a similar clash our first day on the beach each vacation. We are both readers on the beach, but that first day I need to decompress. So I am basically Puddy staring into the ocean for a few hours. It drives he nuts

I’m this way to. Get me a nice rum runner or some light beers and I prefer to just space out for a bit. Driving takes it out of me.mrs meow and I have a similar clash our first day on the beach each vacation. We are both readers on the beach, but that first day I need to decompress. My favorite character he plays is probably Brock Sampson.Such a memorable character that it amazes me that he’s only in a handful of episodes. Bosco. That's just such good set up. Funny though I've never seen bosco in my life. Or really knew what it was.
It's kinda disgusting how filthy his apartment walls are
