The weird thing is I can drive for entire tanks of gas (4-6hrs, depending on vehicle) and not have to piss or feel hungry. But if I'm working in my home office I'm basically a sprinkler that goes off every half hour between trips to the snack drawer.

Yeah, that's me too, lol. Probably because I drank a pot of coffee in the mornings when I worked from home.

Now that I've switched from bottled water (not a fan of city water) to filling a Pens souvenir cup from the fridge, I go probably 5-6 times between 830 and 5, then maybe only 2-3 after that (my hydration habits outside of work are terrible).

Only go in the middle of the night if I drink a lot of water right before bed.

I love coffee, but it'd take a lot of effort to do that. I drink between 3-5 cups (based on the pot marker) per day.

I basically start drinking at 5:30 and I don't stop until lunch. Munching on stuff along with it helps.

Does the content of urine alter the urgency sensation? Sometimes my bladder feels fuller than the amount voided would seem to indicate. Wondering if urine has the ability to be 'denser' and makes me feel like there is more that needs to be expelled than truly exists.

Nothing sadder than an unfulfilling leak.
might be a bladder issue. I recently started taking antihistamines due to hive outbreaks (allergist doesn’t think I’m allergic to anything, just random reactions) and a side effect of the pills is that the bladder has trouble emptying. So I pee small amounts and often. Now I know how 80 year old men feel

So it's almost definitely mental. I started flossing midday and always HAD to pee when I went into the bathroom. We all know that trigger. You're at work and it's a nice thing to do every (unbelievable) 30 minutes so you've programmed yourself to feel the urge. Clearly you're not drinking enough to get a nice long fulfilling pee every 30 minutes.

I think it's a verifiable scientific fact that men are ok with holding their pee while driving because we want to get where the we're going to on a long drive

There's definitely a mental aspect to it. I get a Pavlovian response when I shower and don't drain the weasel beforehand. 90% of my showers are first thing in the morning, post-leak. If I cut the grass and go to shower, I usually don't have to piss. But once in the shower, I get the urge.

I am like dodint, in that working from home (and even in the office) I drink a ton of water. The side game while I am working is how long I can keep my pee either very light yellow or clear.

you’re going to a taco place (or another establishment where you generally order >1 of an item). How do you decide how many tacos you order?

Unless they're like $10 apiece in which case you can surmise they're big **** tacos and you don't get 3
