That pop for Punk was NUCLEAR. That whole moment was perfect.

There’s so much good **** in AEW every week, it’s not even funny.Just watched the clip of his return. Damn. Guess I need to start watching AEW.
And now I realize that it literally just happened 15 minutes ago. Hopefully there’s a way to watch on demand. And to stream the PPV. I can’t go back to paying full price for a single show. Sorry, AEW.

I watched the Pittsburgh shows. It’s tough to jump into a promotion without knowing the storylines or a lot of the wrestlers. I don’t watch WWE anymore except for the big PPVs and I’m ready for a wrestling fix. There’s so much good **** in AEW every week, it’s not even funny.Just watched the clip of his return. Damn. I could do with less Mark Henry and Big Show though…

They have something for everyone IMO. They aren't perfect but the good far outweighs the bad. They don't insult your intelligence like WWE.I watched the Pittsburgh shows. I've just recently started watching every single week but they don't really have any "bad" shows. Everything at least makes sense for the most part.

Masterful return, AEW handled that fantastically, and Punks best asset is his promo. Just wonderful.

They’re bringing in a lot of former WWE guys. The good (Punk, Pac, Mox) and the bad (Show, Henry, Christian). Hopefully they learn from WCW and TNA’s mistakes. Use the established WWE guys to get over the young homegrown guys.
I need to find a place to stream the show, though. If I have to rely on DVR or watching live I’ll never keep up with it.

AEW plays to wrestlers strengths instead of focusing on their weaknesses and ruining any momentum they have.

Bryan makes sense. He’s clearly someone who loves putting over the next generation and getting them to the next level. And he’s a huge name. AEW needs to be careful, though. They don’t want to become the island of misfit former superstars. Let Braun, Bray, and other recent releases enjoy some Impact or NWA time.

Mox legit looks like someone who would murder someone.

I think Christian moves to a producer role soon, and I think Henry only wants a few matches and that's it. I found AEW seems to strike a nice balance.Bryan is rumored to be coming soon too. They’re bringing in a lot of former WWE guys. The good (Punk, Pac, Mox) and the bad (Show, Henry, Christian). Them getting the "indy" guys from WWE has been such a benefit, because WWE helped build them, ruin what was good about them, so it feels great when they're back.

Gotta be honest... I was skeptical af when they brought Sting in, but pairing him with Darby Allin has been genius. He can still hit the big moves too... the Double Scorpion Death Drop on Dynamite this week was pretty fun.

WOW! That gave me chills watching that live. AEW is clearly the new number one wrestling promotion. Curious to see if WWE steps their game up or acts like noting happened and still insults their fans on a weekly basis. I'd bet the latter.

Well, WWE isn’t professional wrestling, they’re “sports entertainment.”

Has there been a bigger pop in the last 10 to 15 years?

People went nuts when The Rock returned. That might be the closest.
Edit: I just checked, besides the initial pop, it wasn’t close.

I remember the Hardy Boyz pop at their Mania 33 return being pretty substantial but I don’t know if that’s a fair comparison.
