So after falling down the Eric Tangradi rabbit hole, it looks like he married a Pittsburgh girl and still lives in town.

I bet Jay Caufield is secretly helping him train for his comeback.

"He expects Evgeni Malkin to return to the lineup before the playoffs begin.

“That’s certainly our hope,” he said."
from Yohe's article
translation:
he might be back for the first round if they make the playoffs

He missed all of 19-20 with a wrist injury. He's not officially retired but it's not likely he plays again.

So when I called him a limp-wristed poodle walker, I was right? Nice.

He's really high (before this) on my list of most hated players of all time...

If my group text messages are ever leaked from those playoff series vs the Rangers or Columbus, I'd be sent immediately to hell...

I understand Dubinsky’s frustration. Imagine being the most competitive person you’ve ever come across. You out-compete every other player you come across from the time you are 4 until you are 22 or whatever. And you rely on that to get you to the next level. To the next league. Then you get to the national league and all of a sudden, this absolute freak of a player not only out competes you, but out skills you, out works you, out point gets you, dips his balls in your mouth and boots your team from the postseason. You’d be pretty salty, no?

you have to know... dubinsky was personally challenged twice by torts to stop crosby and win those series. He was gonna be matched up... and he failed... twice. Id be willing to bet torts has let him know about it from time to time.

To quote a great coach... he’s not even a has been, he’s a never was

I'd love to have him on my team but yeah, I'm not sure what his objective is in making these comments at this time.

this was pretty much exactly my thought. his job was to stop 87 and he couldn't do it. Dubinsky has never won anything in his career.
his comparison of OvenChicken and Sid is apples to oranges. Ovi will likely end up being the greatest pure goal scorer ever, certainly the most dynamic but if we're talking overall player, Sid beats Ovi every time. Sid has 3 times as many Cups, 1,307 points in 1,022 GP.
Ovi has 1 Cup, 1,312 points in 1,187 GP.
