I love that meow’s LBL's initial response is to get naked and fight people children.

A lot like George’s “it’s not a lie if you believe it”I love that meow’s initial response is to get naked and fight people.
meow says “if you aren’t willing to fight naked, do you really feel that strong about something?”

Does anybody else have a bunch of drunk birds in their yards? I have robins pecking at any and every window they can get near. My sunroof window had pounds of **** on it from them sitting on it pecking and shitting, shitting and pecking....

I know there was an IT thread, but I can't find it so...
I haven't been able to update Windows for over a year. Initially it was a memory issue but I cleared enough off the main HD for an install. It still doesn't work. It downloads, tries to install, then I get the "undoing changes made to your pc" message and I'm right back where I started. I wouldn't care except I can't update Adobe Lightroom and Bridge without having Windows up to date and it's becoming a big pita.
I've ran the trouble shooter which says it finds and fixes errors, but when I try to update after that, the cycle begins anew. Any guesses what to do? Can I do a fresh install without losing everything I have (programs, etc)? Can I install from a separate HD? I'm open to ideas.

Fun read about a ship that capsized outside St. Simons island.

Are there any beekeepers in 5AF?
Randomness Dos
Not intentionally, but it seems to happen every year...

I'm a beekeeper, in the sense that I'm in the Eddie Izzard fan club. But that's probably not what you're asking for.

I have looked into it, but my wife is deathly allergic so I have demurred. I would love to have a hive.

My father keeps bees. Has for about 5 years or so now. We reap the rewards every time they visit us or we visit them. The honey is always a bit different in taste, but always good.

I studied about beekeeping during the pandemic (Penn State offered a free extension course) and am slated to get my bees in a few weeks. My dad (82) took the beekeeping course too and has been reading some books. We've also been attending the local monthly beekeeping meetings in our area.
Nervous as hell, but excited. I feel both prepared and wholly unprepared.

I have some friends that have a small farm with some bees. They are hard work but are generally safe. They have swarms but they tend to work themselves out easily. I'm allergic to bee stings and feel comfortable there. My wife's aunt has bees about 100 yards from her swimming pool and they hang out in the pool and sting people all day

I think your aunt is throwing rocks at the kids and saying it's bees

I dont blame her, my nieces and nephews deserve that.
I've probably received 8-10 stings there. Maybe her bees are just dadholes

Haven't been stung since 7th grade and I'm terrified to have it happen again. Allergies can grow worse or lessen over time. I don't want to find out what happened to my bee sting allergy.

The last sting was on my lower lip. I took a swig off a soda can at the pool and felt something at the back of my throat. I forced it out and right before it was all the way out it got me on my lip. I looked like Bubbe from Forest Gump for a couple of days.

You can put window stickers/clings on your windows to keep them from banging into them. Probably nesting nearby and they see their reflection as a threat to the nest.I guess I'll just go **** myself, regarding the robins.
