Crosby’s vision is just other worldly. Who sees that lane?

Blah, blah, blah, jinx, blah...

Cody Ceci was a -60 in Ottawa.
He has not been a minus in any one game with the Pens since 2/16, a 3-1 loss to Washington, 22 games ago.

If Edwards would stop doubling down on the whining, especially when he’s wrong, he’d be more palatable for me in the long run. He’s been good tonight so far, even started the broadcast by calling himself out.

Tanev is a strong, fire hydrant man...

He should have been at least knocked off of his spot by Clifton on that herky jerky zone entry on the right wing boards...Clifton gives him good hip, Tanev absorbs it all and doesn't hardly flinch...impressive. I would have been in the stands on that play...

ja-ack
mears is a grinding bore. edwards not only stays on point he's also got charisma, unlike mears who, as i've said before, would be perfect announcing the livestock prizes at the calabash county fair

Saw that. He does that thing where he leaves his feet right before contact and it helps him absorb it all

I don't need the play by play guy to be a hockey expert, just tell me what's happening, have the ability to match the intensity, make a big moment feel big. Have a good voice? Not sure how to describe it. Mears seems like we picked the standard voice from the play by play guy store. Steigy and Lange had a little character, I guess

Risky play by Letang there...but I actually see where he's going, he really bet on himself there. Hard charging guy (Ritchie), who does nothing but take it to the hole, he probably can't physically restrain him when Ritchie is going full speed...so he catches him with the puck on his backhand and attacks him, forcing puck movement towards his partner or to a much, much slower player coming in at much less speed in David Krejci (even though he has an interior shot on this rush)...

If it goes Dumoulin's way, he's got it. If Ritchie throws it to open ice, he feels he can recover and catch Krejci who has to work his way into the middle to make this work (he's outside the dot line)...Letang actually looks a little surprised about how right he guessed, when he gets set to mark back up on Krejci, Krejci is stuck in quicksand and Letang rejects the entire bid...
