I am incredibly saddened by the news of Murray Walker's passing. When I was at EMI and Fox, i had coworkers in the UK record F1 races, send them to me as PAL tapes, and then my friend's post production company would convert then to NTSC for me, all so I could hear Murray's commentary. He was such an important part of the fabric of F1.

Damn. They were really close. Always loved him telling the stories about going on vacation with Mr. and Mrs. NewhartDon Rickles' wife passed away yesterday, on their wedding anniversary.

I liked it too, was a part of that era denoting the peak of those simple setup sitcoms being good.
