I’m gonna get that to 7.5% by end of fiscal year.

Was that picture of Cruz taken before or after he said that Orlando is nice, but not as nice as Cancún?

It’s a funny thing, though. The free market has certainly indicated where it stands. Still some stragglers but lots of organizations with the, “yeah you guys are dangerous rubes. I’m gonna go sell to the normies”.
The fact that the Dem coalition has considerably more spending power as consumers is one of our strongest guardrails against fascist cosplay.

Agree about the juice deficit. Cruz is such a slob that it gives him that nice rustic authenticity for a few. And De Santis has bully energy. Most of these mutants have some kind of hook into MAGA land.
Hawley’s gonna get slaughtered in the primaries.

Sometimes when my boss is objectively bad at her job and it negatively reflects on me and my day, I remark in my rantings to others: I wonder, if at the end of the day, she lays her head on her pillow and goes, "Man, I did really good again today..."
Semi-analogous to that: I wonder that about some of these people that got swept up into the cult of Trump and even when it fell apart and it turned out to just be two children and a pigeon under a trench coat, and just decided to YOLO their way through it...at any point do they ever find a single minute in their month and go, "Is this what I thought I was getting into?" or "Is this what I wanted to accomplish in the political arena?" or even, "Am I even good at the job I think I should be doing...?"
I'll never know...but, hmph...

The measurement is not good/bad. It’s poll numbers, donations and current elected position. If those are good, then the performance is good.
It’s not a meritocracy. Your boss at some point demonstrated acumen. These guys won some popularity contests and now here they are. Nobody elected Hawley because he was such a great judicial clerk.

This doesn't surprise me:
https://www.washingtonpost.com/lifestyl ... tyle-chain
Imagine this scenario: You discover a degrading remark about your daughter on her Instagram account that says, “You’re disgusting. No one wants to see your ugly face.” Suddenly, you’re worried that someone is cyberbullying your tween. But when you ask your daughter about the online jab, she admits that she set up a fake account and posted the comment herself.
Though it may sound far-fetched to parents who didn’t grow up on social media, social scientists are now devoting research to the practice they’re calling “self-cyberbullying” or “digital self-harm,” in which social media users set up fake accounts and use those accounts to post mean comments about themselves.

If your daughter can be described as a tween she shouldn't have social media accounts.

As the old saying goes, in dramatic narrative the villain is the hero of their own story.Sometimes when my boss is objectively bad at her job and it negatively reflects on me and my day, I remark in my rantings to others: I wonder, if at the end of the day, she lays her head on her pillow and goes, "Man, I did really good again today..."
