You can thank ya boy meow for that oneIt was a mass clinic in Monroe run through Atrium health.Where did you go?Got my first shot today. It was for all the teachers in the county, plus any older residents who hadn't gotten it yet. It was incredibly efficient. I was in and out in 25 minutes, including the 15 minute post-shot wait time.

You’re in Waxhaw, no? I doubt we come much close to you. People from Waxhaw will drive for services, so we don’t mind making them drive. Then I take the thank you back!
Although 20 minutes from my house, so thanks for that!

I made a lap through town tonight and every restaurant was at pre-Covid levels judging by vehicles in the parking lots. I guess the pandemic is over because every place I passed (Eat n Park, Ruby Tuesday, Hoss's, a few local joints) was packed.

I'm assuming a few dozen variants were born under the buffet lamps

Yessir. My son and I would go there every other week when he's with me. It was the last restaurant we ate in. I may miss the tradition more than then the actual restaurant but I'm a sucker for all you can eat sushi. The one by best buy?I miss the Asian buffet on McKnight so bad

Oh yeah I love that place. Totally grossed out by sushi buffets but I don't care. I'll put away 5 or 6 plates there easy. Top it off with some red bean and green tea ice cream.

The sushi there wasn't terrible. I'd say it was even a little better than grocery-store sushi, and there was plenty of other stuff on the buffet. My bother and I went there many times. I think it's now some sort of seafood restaurant.

I haven’t been to our local buffet place in years. I called in a to go order for lunch one day, and showed up to pick it up and pay for it. Once I paid for it, the cashier went out to the buffet and scooped my order (General Tso’s Chicken) into a container, then a container of rice, bagged both up and handed it to me.
That just grossed me out for some reason.
