Love the talks between Calvin and his dad. I've definitely used the "sun sets somewhere near Flagstaff" one with my daughter

I need to watch that Watterson doc at some point, and maybe that explains it a bit, but I completely understand him walking away from Calvin and Hobbes when he did. What I don't understand is how he didn't start another comic series. He's so talented, from the dinosaur stuff, to the noir, Spaceman Spiff, etc. - he could've done any genre really well.
Hell, he still could - he's only 62. Christ, I wish Jim Davis had walked away from Garfield 30 years ago.

Yeah, it's frustrating and relieving at the same time. Leaves us desperately wanting more.I need to watch that Watterson doc at some point, and maybe that explains it a bit, but I completely understand him walking away from Calvin and Hobbes when he did. Hahah, love it. One of the rare times the mom is on board.
