Watched Judas and the black Messiah on hbo last night. It had a little pacing issue, but was really good. All the acting was top notch. Very impressed.

Heh, I watched Smokey and the Bandit for the first time since I was about 10. Still great lol.
I forgot how gimped those old Trans Ams were - 220 HP out of a 6.6 liter V8, with a top speed of 110 at best. My old '08 Odyssey's V6 had 240HP lol.

I think as far as good follow-ups to iconic movies go, Doctor Sleep is up there as one of the best sequels ever. The whole thing was just executed very well. The story itself was novel, but tied into The Shining. The gap between the two movies is great in that it's pretty much the same amount of real world time. That is fun on its own, but it allowed such a long cooling off period between the two films that there couldn't be a lot of 'you're just trying to cash in on the original' talk. And not calling it The Shining 2 was a fantastic move as that wouldn't have been very fair to Doctor Sleep.
Watched it last night, wife and I both enjoyed it a lot. I read the book when it came out and from what I remember the screenplay is pretty faithful to the novel.

Yep. "In 1970s London, young fashion designer Estella de Vil becomes obsessed with dogs' skins, especially Dalmatians, until she eventually becomes a ruthless and terrifying legend known as Cruella."Cruella origin story?

I binged a bunch of these a few months ago, probably watched 60 or 70. They're actually pretty decent, barely an inconvenience.Made it to 6 seconds and had to turn it off, that guy seems incredibly annoying
Then I ran out of them, all the rest were super hero and star wars so I unsubscribed.

It wasn't just that he was a kid. He looks a lot like my boy. But the kicker was the voice. His voice was so GD similar to my boy's. Hearing those screams was very difficult.

I’d watch a version of Ghost with ghost Swayze edited out; as if the viewer was a normal person in the universe who couldn’t see/hear ghosts

Was just about to post that. The trailer is better than the poster. I mean, this is basically Disney's Joker, right?
