70 yards according to ShotLink. Made bogey. You and I would have grabbed another one from the bag and hit it.

Pebble was showing its teeth today. All kinds of wind out there even though it was a chef's kiss kind of day. When the first pics of it came up today I was like, 'aw, I really miss it out there'. But then I saw how bundled up the players and marshals were on the course and was like, 'ehhhh, I'm better off in the warmth'. The cold there is no joke, that's for damn sure. Big finish by Spieth with that hole-out on 16. Let's see if he can finish this one. Would be a good week for him to get it since I have him in my one-and-done.

I guess the good news is that he was in a position to close at all but yeah. Mentally he seems to struggle stringing together four good rounds in a row

If he could be more consistent at finding a fairway. Hell, if he could just hit one fairway, he'd have been a threat today. Amazingly, he hit shots out of some deep rough to hit greens and not make bogeys. But then he has 120 in on 14 and hits the wrong club due to the wind and can't get up and down. Little things like that when you're starving for a win can derail you quickly.

That was an entertaining tournament for a pretty lackluster field. Seemed like all of the bigger names showed up to play

Cantlay is on a tear too

They’re both good under-the-radar picks for Augusta imo

Tiger doc on HBO was good. Nothing earth shattering new but a good treatment of his arc.

He is basically a sociopath who was raised by a pair of more awful sociopaths.

But, again, nothing new there.

Got tickets to Kiawah at $240 for the Sunday round

Will be interesting with the limited crowd and having to wear a mask the whole time

That's great. All I could think about is how tired he must have been after. Going through a bucket of balls exhausts me with a normal swing.

Outside of majors, Riviera might be the best course on tour imo. Maybe Pebble.. pretty fun watching them back to back

Having been to both, from a scenic perspective, Pebble obviously blows it out of the water. But from a shotmaker's perspective and a golf perspective, Riviera has it beat. Sure, the winds can make you hit a 5-iron on 7 tee at Pebble and the 2nd shot at 8 can be pretty damn intimidating over the ravine. But how are you gonna navigate the 10th hole at Riviera? Can you hit it to the correct quadrant on 6 so you don't have to putt (or chip!!) around the bunker in the middle of the green? Which side of the fairway are you gonna go down on 8? Can you keep it on the fairway at 18 with a blind uphill tee shot? There are so many mindf's at Riviera that it'll wear your brain out by the end of the round. It's just too bad that Riviera doesn't get any more major events (though, they will have the Olympics in 2028) because letting the USGA get at that place could be wildly entertaining. The last time the PGA was there, it was so baked out that it wasn't as much fun.

I’ll admit I haven’t been to many pro courses but I can’t imagine how any course in the world is better looking than Pebble, including Augusta

Any of the holes along the ocean look like golf heaven. #6 in particular was indescribably picturesque

Jordan's round started out so well yesterday.

Hard to bet against DJ here on out. I don't see Burns hanging on.

My grandpa played into his nineties. I wish I would have asked him his thoughts on his last round.

Agreed. Views not a factor, Riv is a superior golf course. But views are a factor imo and they make Pebble really effing sweet. I'd like to see a major here though. They don't need to do too much beefing up to it really.
