They must be the worst team in the history of the NHL with the goalie pulled. I absolutely was positive they wouldn’t get a shot on net and they didn’t

It's really **** great when a GM just completely **** up a team then decides he's going to quit before he has to deal with the issues he caused.

**** yourself, GMJR.

How many of those Jarry goals should have been saved? 3 of the 4?

Yea his moves this year look atrocious outside of Kapanen. Janikowski, sceviour, Matheson, ceci, Rodrigues. I mean, that’s just so bad.

And then we don’t sign a veteran backup in case what is happening to Jarry happens.

Tonight was a case of our goaltending playing pretty badly. There were a few breakdowns on defense, but 2 of those 4 should have been stopped.

They need to find a really, really fat guy and put him in net.

I always said I would prefer two defensive defenseman signed for what they pay Letang to do whatever it is that he does.

What's his remaining add? Running breakouts?

He has good cardio. I think that’s the only praise you hear about him now....that he can log a lot of minutes. The way he’s playing I’d rather him play 3rd pairing minutes and have horrendous endurance/cardio.

I originally thought POJ should have released to the front of the net but after watching a few more times it seems pretty clear the guy had no angle to the net and Letang had no need to try and cut him off.

Looking at this play in a vacuum, Letang absolutely makes the correct play and POJ is totally lost. That’s a simple switch that occurs when a dump happens.

In a vacuum, yes, that’s on POJ. Absolutely agree

But when a 14 year vet sees his rookie partner in defense obviously following his man into the corner instead of switching off, he probably should be able to recognize that and not abandon a wide open man coming through the slot

That’s a no from me, dawg. Letang isn’t a baby sitter. And peewees know to switch there.

I know 58 has a bullseye on his back, but let’s at least choose some plays where he actually **** up to complain about. There are enough of them to go around since he logs like a million minutes a game and has the puck every 3 seconds.

This is another example in a lengthy story of Jesse trying to go all big brain and looking like an absolute fool.

And I’m not trying absolve Letang here. Knowing the player, he’s not a great communicator out there. A simple “I got it” and none of this happens. But it is clearly his play. He’s has already transitioned to skating forwards before the line was gained. He’s also right handed, can shield the forechecker and can wheel it behind the net.
