It's not really new though, right? Just a rebranding of a streaming service that nobody uses? I think I'll continue not using it.

I've enjoyed the free month that @NTP66 posted on here. Beyond that trial, we're not paying for it.

Anyone have a 2.1 system they really like for PC? My system has 3 audio cards but I'm running my regular productivity (including music while at work) through an old 2.1 system I've had for 10-12 years.

Now that I have the house to myself during the day I've been listening to music loud and it's terribad.

I had a Klipsch ProMedia THX 2.1 rig for a long time. That was solid. The sub went wonky after a long time, and the only reason I didn't replace it with the exact same set up was because by then I had switched to headphones for gaming.

I read that you can get an unlimited data plan for an extra $30 a month, but have no idea if that's actually true.
So after getting my 75% notification today I did find that you can get unlimited for an extra $30, as if I don't pay enough already. Otherwise it is $10/50GB up to max $100 starting in March.

All that said if we are at 75% of January's data on the 22nd and online classes get cut by 40% due to school going back to hybrid - maybe we'll come in roughly on target.

Recommendations for wireless buds for Pixel 5. Either true buds or with a short band. Anyone have the Pixel buds and recommend?

I use them for anything from running & working out to sitting.
I got these and used them with my pixel this summer mainly because of the price

They work pretty damn good. I recently got JBL 650 over the ear headphones and I like the sound so much better with over the ear compared to buds. I wanted to try the pixel buds but just couldn't justify the price at the time.
Scooped these up on a lightning deal today for $25 so going to check them out.

Man, just noticed our Netflix subscription - just streaming, no discs - is just under $20 a month with taxes. We watch it, but if it goes up much more than that...not so sure.

Might pop down to 2 screens with 1080p only. Not sure when/if we'll get a 4K TV. Plus, what kind of bandwidth do you need for that?

Different services have different recommendations, but I wouldn't feel like bases were covered unless I had at least a 25 Mbs pipe.

I'd agree with this if we're talking about bandwidth requirements for more than one service. 25 Mbps is technically the requirement for 4k streaming, so depending on your use case, that may not be enough. If we're talking 1080 streaming, 5 Mbps will do.

My philosophy is just to get the biggest pipe your ISP offers at your address.

$95 a month for 400 down. Not sure that's worth it for us.

So, for you techies. I use yondertv so I can stream the Pens games and Bucco games on NHL.tv and MLB.tv. It allows my other streaming devices to work except for ESPN. For some reason it says it does not work for my country of origin, I'm guessing because my DNS is set with the yondertv DNS.

But then like tonight on Hulu, it says on NBCspn that the Pens game is blacked out in my area (I'm watching on NHL.tv anyway because the NBC and CBS steams suck ass for sports), but how does it know I'm in da burg when I'm supposedly masking it?

Also, if any of you use yondertv, any tips on getting ESPN app to work so I can watch ACCXN without having to constantly change my DNS?

Thinking about getting a 4k tv... Probably in the 50" range. Only real requirement is at least 3 HDMI ports. Will be heavily used for gaming. Haven't gone tv shopping since mid 2012, so could use some suggestions.

Rtings.com should be your first stop. They have a selection tool where you enter your requirements, viewing habits, etc, and it’ll show you the TVs that match.

Where is your DNS location?

Also, wasn't last night's game a road game? So wouldn't the blackout be the NYC market?

For you poor schmucks who have no choice other than Comcast, here's some good news:

Got my projector choices narrowed down to the Epson 2150 and the BenQ HT2050A. Basically going in somewhat blind other than online reviews.
