Over the past 10 days, average volume for this stupid stock has been 99 million a day. That means 1 billion shares have changed hands over the past 10 days, and now its the shorts ruining things?

Explain this a bit. Most people that know the industry/fundamentals seem pretty upset. Why?

Because some people are going to make money by not doing it the way it’s supposed to be done.

Take out a second mortgage and put it all on GME.

I’m obviously kidding. Don’t do that, but for real...

I legitimately bought NOK a few days ago because I thought that it was long term growth. I didn't think it was a meme stock that was shorted

We were discussing the poor (rich?) souls that just legitimately had these stocks. What a ride that would have been

@AuthorTony ...If you had like 5 or 10k you didn't care about losing I'd say throw it in on a dip and ride the rocket of GME.

Note: this is not financial advice and I'm a dumb dumb.

Yeah, Tony, at this point, pick one of the 5 or so stocks WK mentioned and buy it. Some are cheap. Game stop is not. Don't invest what you aren't willing to lose. If you can afford GME then saddle up.

My take is that GME was a concentrated effort and paid off/is paying off. Now everyone's searching for the next GME and the efforts are split amongst these stocks and they won't end up as successful. imo

I also own AMC and BB so YOLO

I tried to download the robinhood app but it's giving me errors. I'd imagine there are a few million other schmucks trying to register too.

Yep. GME is a one off. Others may get some play but the sheer payoff of GME is once in a lifetime. It's not normal at all. I hope that 99% of people realize that.

I had about $130 sitting in an old ETrade brokerage account that honestly I'm not even sure why I have it. Probably the dregs of an ESPP that I cashed in to buy a car or something.

Shifted it to AMC at noon-ish and now I'm up by a case of decent beer.

It's the small wins.

Maybe they'll pick my company next. We were down 3% today.
