I loved Babylon 5. It's sad just how many of the cast have now passed: Jerry Doyle, Richard Biggs, Stephen Furst, Andreas Katsulas, Michael O'Hare, Jeff Conaway, and now Mira Furlan.

Who else but Vin Scully?

There has been a lot of focus on this by local media because of this inexorable connection. But TIL Aaron had the most home runs against the Los Doyers by any single player not named Willie Mays. On its face, this seems kinda bonkers to me, as I don't think ATL and LA ever played in the same division during his career. But as a non-fan I don't how often they would've played each other, or if this is commonplace. Like, I think in the first 4 or 5 years of the existence of the San Jose Sharks, Mario Lemieux was the leading scorer against them, cos he'd reliably pot north of 10 points in the 2 games every year.

LA and ATL were in the NL West.

Might've been when the Braves were in Milwaukee, or at least would have likely played more games v the LAD when that was the case

NL West before going to three divisions:

Cincinnati Reds
Los Angeles Dodgers
San Francisco Giants
Houston Astros
Atlanta Braves
San Diego Padres

It never made sense that Chicago was in the East but Cincinnati was in the West.

Atlanta is further west than South Africa, so that division alignment makes complete sense.

I think the divisions began in 1969 so he would have played against the Dodgers as much as any other team while in Milwaukee.

Pens were in the Norris division with the Kings in the late 70's:

Detroit Red Wings
Los Angeles Kings
Montreal Canadiens
Pittsburgh Penguins
Washington Capitals

I know him mainly through Howard Stern making fun of him.
A few years ago Larry was doing some some short form internet show and had a series of one line "thoughts" he would say with a typewriter sound in the background. Howard went nuts with it, hah.

Y’all like to joke on shad for jinxing people with a mere mention. But the real death sentence is if they show up on my Dead Pool list. That’s two for me already. Heaven, hellooooo.

Larry King was fantastic. I was happy to see him on the Norm show a few years back. His appearance was a lot of fun, the two of them had a lot of respect for each other. RIP

There had probably been others prior to him, but his cameo in Ghostbusters was the first time I remember a media personality doing a cameo as themselves in a movie. (I guess that whole montage counts)

Came here to post this. He was Fred's neighbor for 12 episodes. I thought he had more appearances than that.

I thiught he was also on some earlier episodes of Sesame Street but nothing shows up on IMDB.

She was amazing!

And I invoke her character name every time Teddy Blueger scores. (Yes I know the spelling is different.)
