mine auto-renewed with zero notice. I called the number on the charge and the very nice Leafs fan canceled the auto-renew and refunded my money.
There should be an email notification ahead of time; that's actually what prompted my cancelation.

I'm the opposite, I received notification it would be auto-renewed on 01/10, and I have not seen a charge go through. So I'm guessing it didn't renew.

as long as the game doesn't start out with Crosby winning the faceoff straight back and over Jarry's blocker for a goal against like the steelers game started I'll be ok

People who IM you at work asking if they can call you, and then ask you a yes or no question. GTFO

Just say “I’d rather you didn’t.”

I really hate talking on the phone but especially to idiots.

I’m the same way. Gonna just tell them I’m on the phone myself every time they ask from now on. This is one of those people who always wants to call no matter what.

I got an IM, email, phone call combo all in the same 30 second span a few months ago. For the rest of the week, I had my phone re-direct to the main office number. It's unconscionable that we're so far into the world of tech, and so far into the WFH world, that you can't figure out how lines of communication work and which line is used for what type of communication...

That sounds like the type of person who immediately walks over to your desk after they’ve done at least 2 out of the 3 listed above. Unless there’s a fire, that’s nuts.

That’s also why I took my name tag off the outside of my cube (RIP corner window cube).

Double left turn lanes

Invariably, a driver in the inside lane cuts the turn before they even really pull forward into the intersection, forcing them to choke off the turn and often pushing them wide into the next lane. While simultaneously, a driver in the outside turn lane invariably turns too sharp and veers into the inside lane forcing other drivers in the inside lane to check up.

There are double lefts everywhere in Charlotte. Everywhere. I’ve never really had a close call with someone. Let’s chalk this one up to CA being dumb

i anticipate it now and get to lay on a ferocious horn

Coming home from mini meow’s school there is an interesting intersection. It’s a four way with signals on pretty busy streets. No right on reds, but there are right green arrows when appropriate. I make a right here and the light sequence goes: green lens, yellow lens, red lens... 5 second pause...green arrow. No one. No one pays attention to the arrow and they just sit there, until old meow gets impatient and starts beep beeping.

i have one near my house on a busy street that grinds my gears. i'll try and portray as best as possible

i'm in left turn lane which has an arrow but also just the general green light to go when no one's coming.. i go partway out, and normally just head left when the light turns yellow/red when oncoming traffic stops. well sometimes my light turns red but the oncoming traffic light stays green and I just get stuck in the middle of the intersection. It's fun times. I've learned my lesson and just stay back now but the first couple times were pretty alarming

Counter offer, doing anything stupid enough for someone else to hit their horn for three or more seconds at you and your car explodes.

I think there is probably a pretty high correlation between [people who frequently lay on their horn for 3+ seconds] and [mentally unstable people]. Also, using your horn more than five times in a 24 hour period, also, ka-boom. If you're using your horn that much, you're probably the problem (my mom, for instance).
