Yep. Lets get needles in arms.My PA friend got her shots. The first shot had no issues. The second shot, she felt good until about 12 hours after the shot, and then the spot on her arm got extremely sore, she came down with a fever, and just knocked out for about 24 hours. But feels a lot better after that 24 hours.
If that is the extent of side effects after the second shot, it's well worth it IMO. And she 100% agrees.

COVID-19
I'm obviously at the end of the line. If given the chance though and there are extra doses laying around cause people are stupid and don't want the vax I'd be more than willing to take one.
My wife is eligible for her second dose next Saturday I think.

Just had a coworker come to pick something up and she went off on a rant about vaccines. I said you better stop right there if you want a work relationship to continue. It ended with her saying she is an american, anti-vaxer and what's next, you are going to take my guns. This is someone I worked closely with for the last 7 years. Not sure what brought this up, but I like how easy it has become for me to remove people from my daily life.

I just don't understand how some people go off like this, and it goes any which way. Maybe it's just my personality, and I don't get too bothered about things overall, but man, I couldn't imagine going into work, or going to someones home, or whatever, and just start spouting off my political views and getting this angry.Just had a coworker come to pick something up and she went off on a rant about vaccines. To each their own though. I'd be extremely careful if I were her though if this was at work.

Depends. Did you post it on Facebook? It won't work unless you do that

I don't work for UPMC so it's not personal at all. I saw it here:Nothing personal but that's dumb.I don't know about NTP, but UPMC put all employees in 1A, including WFH folks.
My SiL works at UPMC but she would be considered high risk with considerable exposure risk.

Same. I work at a hospital, and am critical staff. If something I own goes down, it will negatively impact patient care.I don't know about NTP, but UPMC put all employees in 1A, including WFH folks.

Our HR group has been on the horn with people and apparently I'm considered 1B. I feel like I'm a 2 kind of person, but if that thing becomes available to me, I'm getting it. It's not my fault the powers that be don't know what the f*ck they're doing.

Yup. As mentioned, my UPMC-employee roommate is getting his today. He hasn't been in office since before Thanksgiving, and even then it was only once a week and he was the only person there.
He's also getting it before his mom (diabetic) and grandparents (80s, grandma is also diabetic). We both see the absurdity in it.

Nothing personal but I'd like the old people to get it before healthy young people who work from home.Same. I work at a hospital, and am critical staff.
