He’s seeing how much the winds there affect the ball rolling on a putt so his coach is blocking out the wind with the umbrella.

I hate him. Wonder if he realizes his coach is lifting the umbrella up and letting wind through anyway

I'm not rationalizing. I asked our producer out there when this video got posted here. He and our reporter there had seen it and asked Bryson about it.Don’t go and rationalize his behavior. He’s seeing how much the winds there affect the ball rolling on a putt so his coach is blocking out the wind with the umbrella.

The negative is you can only golf when both of you are free and it costs twice as much. Be prepared, but it's totally worth itI know I have a long list of demands anyway, but I really hope my future wife golfs. Attractive female golfers really get me going

Managed to get my wife into golf. Got her some golf outfits that revved my engine, a couple of intro lessons from the instructor at the driving range I worked at growing up, and played 9 holes once. That was the end of that. Too hard, my suck ass trying to show her anything in the course was a disaster, and she pretty immediately lost interest. Now golf is my “day away” activity and the outfits still get used, so I consider it a win.I know I have a long list of demands anyway, but I really hope my future wife golfs. seriously JT?
side note: was he calling himself the slur? if so, who does that?
side note II: IMO his apology seems authentic particularly the "I'm an adult. I'm a grown man. There's absolutely no reason for me to say anything like that." part of it.

JT's lucky that this hasn't been noticed all that much because everyone is paying attention to football. I give him credit for immediately apologizing in the postround interview. Still no excuse for that and he knows it. He's a stand-up kid and he's been brought up right but there's no room for any of that BS even in a casual round at home.

Eh I give him the benefit of the doubt. I’m sure he grew up saying it like I did
Not saying it’s ok but we’re humans and make mistakes. He owned up to it and I doubt he’s homophobic

Agreed. I get that he was using it not as a slur but as a word of derision or frustration (like I'm sure he did when he was younger). But yeah, ya gotta know there are always hot mics especially without crowds. Also agree his apology was what needed to be said.Eh I give him the benefit of the doubt. Polo Ralph Lauren drops JT after last week's 'unawareness of live mics'.

Also, I was kinda sorta looking forward to going to Mexico City for the WGC-Mexico Championship at the end of the February. Now I won't have the chance this year to stay away from the water and heave for air after walking up steps at 7500+ altitude as the PGA Tour has shifted that event to the Concession in Sarasota (woohoo, driving distance). Concession hosted the NCAA's a few years back where DeChambeau won the individual title.

Is it insane to me that we are coming up on the two anniversary of Tiger's miracle at Augusta. Feels like it happened yesterday
