Yep, forgot about that. So weird to have basic treatments like this that you are not allowed to participate in.

I'm approaching the end of my first year with my medical marijuana card and I have to say for how **** up 2020 was, it's amazing how little anxiety and stress I've had. It has honestly changed my life in ways I never thought were possible after going down the pharmaceutical route

@Freddy Rumsen how's your hamstring?
Still sore a bit if I step the wrong way, but for the most part it is back to normal.

Thanks for asking.

Good to hear. I have a cranky hip/hamstring, so I know how aggravating that can be.

Vitamin D deficiency could explain why autism is more common in boys

It doesn't help that a lot of kids never get sunshine anymore. It's sad that they have to take supplements because they spend most of the day inside.

The study found that it is the lack of vitamin D by the mother while during pregnancy may be the cause, but people being inside too often in general nowadays could explain the rise in autism if the findings from the study are true

I'm talking out of my ass here, but I always wonder whether autism rates have truly gone up, or whether it's just being diagnosed more often. As far as I know, there wasn't a single autistic kid in my graduating class in 1996, but I'd bet big money at least a few of them would be diagnosed as autistic today. In the 80s/90s, they were just different, or awkward, etc.

Where I grew up they shipped off all the disabled kids to one school in the district. We never saw them.

An advantage of homeschooling is that my kids are outside like six hours every day as long as it's not raining.

That’ll serve them well when they have to catch their own food

I've been planning for the collapse of society since 1972.

One day I'll be right.

How do you guys deal with canker sores? I've had two on my tongue in the past two weeks (one each side).

Really annoying to eat anything and I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.

I feel like this probably goes beyond just work stress causing them.

I put orajel or another similar numbing/coating ointment on it. Not much help while eating, as the stuff will come off, but keeps the stinging down some.

My issue with them is that I’ll get them and they’ll swell so much that I’ll bite them, causing double the pain and twice the time to heal.

Yeah I caught the current one on a tooth last night and it felt like I ripped my tongue open. And toothpaste might as well be throwing acid on it.

I will sometimes get them when I either forget to brush before bed or brush, but then eat/drink something. My theory is mine develop when I go to bed with a not clean mouth.

Do you eat a lot of salty or acidic foods? I find I get them if I eat too much salty food.

I would wager the amount of salt intake I have now is less than or equal to what it was when I wasn't having this issue.
