I think a knock on DJ was maybe that he didn't care, or that his demeanor at least gave that appearance. Not that anyone disliked him because of it but maybe thought he'd have a few more majors if he had that fire that some guys do. But I think the interview with Balionis (<3) might have changed that perception

My buddy sent me a Masters WITB article about Bernard Langer. He thinks it’s neurotic. I think it speaks to an older gentleman who knows what he wants (sploosh).... and probably no longer has a club sponsor.

I visited the Wayne Gretzky Estates in Niagara on the Lake a couple summers ago, and bought some of their whisky and wine. We also sampled, so there's a chance I may have drank from the same glass as her back at the grand opening. I scored!Paulinas instagram today. Double yoi

Going out golfing on this frigid morning for only the second time this year. Heading to Loch Nairn, which I haven't played before. It's been described as a "shot maker's" course, so I'm probably boned.

This is fun to look at

What I find really surprising is that Greg Norman had two separate runs at the top of the OWGR *after* Tiger was #1 for the first time. Norman's last two victories were in the summer of 1997.

Unreal. What was going on with Tiger in 04 and 05 that he kept bouncing around with Vijay?Three golfers have spent an entire calendar year atop the rankings: Nick Faldo (1993), Greg Norman (1996), and Woods (2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009).

Vijay was borderline unstoppable in 2004 and 2005. He won nine tournaments in 2004 alone including the PGA

Damn. Why do I not remember that? Must have been all that deer antler spray he used.

Women drivers, amirite? But seriously, can't remember ever hearing about a serious golf cart accident on one of the major tours

What do folks here consider their cutoff point for cold weather golf? I walked 18 at schenley today with really no issue, only when there was some precipitation. I don't think I'd want to play a riding course in this, but walking made it palatable. If I snowboarded or skied, i'd probably not be thinking about this, but mostly, the idea that basically all recreational activity is done for 2+ months, can't handle that.
