I wonder if/how this will affect the potential The Last of Us TV series, depending on how he presents.

Given the rising stigma of casting non-trans people in trans roles wouldn't that carry over to casting trans people in non-trans roles?

I was kind of thinking about that, but in another way. Elliot is FTM (female to male). Would it be inappropriate if he played a MTF trans character?

I don't care who he plays. Acting is pretending to be someone/something you're not.

I’m thinking about how this affects The Umbrella Academy.

Of course, if Five is an older guy in a 13-year old boy’s body, I guess Vanya could port into a different body as well.

Hewlett Packard, one of the original Silicon Valley tech companies, is moving their corporate headquarters to Texas.

I wonder if WFH helped with this decision. Not having to move as many people or buy office space for everyone would be a lot cheaper. Tax burden lower in Texas as well...

HP's downturn started when Carly Fiorina (remember her?) was brought in as CEO, and merged with Compaq. Tens of thousands of layoffs later, she was bounced.

One of my co-workers at Fox was the daughter of the SF Chronicle cartoonist played by Jake Gyllenhaal in the movie. So that's fun.

That's something of a misnomer. If tipped staff do not make enough in tips to get to the standard minimum wage the employer has to make up the difference. So the effective minimum wage is always the standard minimum wage. That said, if you get allocated wages from an employer they're likely to reduce your shifts or let you go. At least that's how it was when I was a manager at Eat 'N Park.
