Postby MalkinIsMyHomeboy » Sun Nov 29, 2020 12:19 am

I’m drunk and I’m angry
I learned about it weeks ago but...

Apparently Venus flytraps are only found in southeastern NC and northeastern SC. A very small range for a pretty unique and famous plant

HOW THE **** ARE THE CAROLINAS NOT MORE PROUD OF IT?

seriously. Here in Wilmington the local uni’s mascot is the “seahawk”. Why the **** isn’t it the flytrap?

I want to run for mayor just so I can push this legislation

Thanks to the new commercial for Battle Bots, I've had Baby Got Back stuck in my head for days now.

I had logged into my fitness pal for 1850+ days, so over 5 years. It was like habit to log in every morning after I worked out. For some reason last week I forgot to open up the app on my phone to sync my workout until the following day. Streak back to 1. It doesn't even matter, but I damn near cried for a minute.

I always marveled at that.

A few years ago my wife had a good streak going and then I locked my keys in the car on vacation with her phone inside and we couldn't get a locksmith out until the next morning. Doh.

I'm at 130 days or so, which I'm proud of. I don't fill in every meal, but always breakfast and lunch to see what I have left caloriewise for dinner.

I don't use my real name on social media and I certainly don't talk about my employer. At all.

Yup. I share a lot of stuff on Facebook admittedly because of all my family scattered to the four winds, but I never talk about my employer and don't have it listed. Not that I ever post anything controversial.

I also use an alias on Facebook and I absolutely do NOT friend my coworkers even though I don't discuss my employer. I spent too many years working in retail with coworkers who would absolutely step on your neck to get ahead.

This **** grinds my gears

I can't afford that stuff for my kid either but why would I ever tell someone else how they have to do their holiday? Teach YOUR kids to deal with it.

Said it before, I’ll say it again: the fat man in a red suit isn’t getting credit for the best gift. That’s a sucker’s game.

Thin Oreos. In a world with double stuffed (not actually doubled) and mega stuffed (actually doubled), it’s debatable if normal Oreos should even still exist. Thin Oreos are for terrorists.

This is mostly correct...except for the mint ones. The mint ones are basically the girl scout thin mints without the chocolate coating. They are divine. The rest can go to hell.

No appreciation for automotive history.

You used to be able to buy most cars in both 2 and 4 door versions.

Thin Oreos are for the “Karens” of the world who want to give themselves a little reward, a little treat for having asked to speak to the manager.

People who eat thin Oreos deserve no treats, ever. I'd even go so far as to call them sub-human.
