Bergevin is also playing with house money probably...if he doesn't make the playoffs this year, he's probably done in Montreal...so who cares what the team looks like in 3...

It seems like Sweden could be very interesting for young players to get "sure" playing time this winter. I am not sure how good Connor Bedard is/will be but he seems kind of hyped.

Thornton's wife is Swiss, he spends summers in Switzerland, and he's had this plan to play in Switzerland to start the year to stay fresh but also extend his life...then try to come back to the NHL at around the trade deadline...Toronto is probably the leading spot right now, with 0 GP...
