Yes also true. They are fun though. I would be on board for no rankings until week 6 or so. So many teams get inflated rankings from beating a "good" team that was ranked too high to begin with while some overrated teams hang in the rankings way too long because they started #7 and just suck.

Rankings that aren't college football playoff rankings are dumb.

I’m glad it is back and if some members of this here message board thinks that makes me a bad person, then so be it. I like to watch college football.Covid or no covid I still love CFB Saturdays
With that in mind:
Auburn Georgia should be a doozy.
Looking forward to Alabama dismantling what should be an overrated aTm team
UNC-Boston College should be interesting for Pitt fans
Also, Navy Air Force tonight.

aTm overrated? No way
I think UNC crushes BC would would be nice if they blew it. They got way too much hype imo, coming back to earth would be satisfying

Yes that BC game is interesting in the context of Pitt’s quest to be undefeated going into the Clemson game and subsequently beating clemson in back to back to back weeks (Nov 28, ACC champ, CFP) Tom emanski style

They're pretty funny when Pitt loses. Even funnier when overhyped, overrated teams like Texas and A&M lose too, though aTm's was expected.Saturdays suckCovid or no covid I still love CFB Saturdays

I don't feel bad about the Twins losing 18 playoff games in a row anymore

On another note, Bulldogs with an extremely impressive start tonight.
On an additional note, Travis Etienne is still at Clemson? It seems like he has been there an eternity, although I'm guessing because he actually stayed for his senior season.

UCF yaks an early 16-point lead to lose their first home game since their winless season. If I had an office to go to with people in it, it would be funny to listen to all of the alums whining.

How does Mike Leach's air raid offense go from putting up 44 in a win over LSU to losing to Kentucky 24-2 two weeks later?
Of course LSU is clearly not as good as their initial ranking (they gave up a ton of points in a loss to Mizzou yesterday in another loss), but still.

When you throw the ball to the other team 6 times, that usually has a lot to do with it.

Clemson eviscerated Miami last night. The defense only gave up an offensive touchdown late in the game after the third stringers came in. The other touchdown was a blocked 61 yd field goal attempt, which Dabo said was the worst coaching decision he's ever made.
Etienne is a beast, and has rounded himself into an all purpose back. He's finally blocking well and able to run routes consistently, which is why he came back for his senior year.

Just 4 days after imploring his employer to allow full capacity at the Swamp, Dan Mullen’s Gators have an outbreak and their game against LSU Saturday has been postponed. Serves em right.
