They're (Anaheim) literally right up against the cap.
For as poor as their results have been... why? I know they have Gibson but like... you're just wasting him with the cap limit team you're icing in front of him.

Somebody refresh my memory, with Johnson signing in NY, we still have part of his cap hit, correct?

It affects us zero. Whether he signs with 29 teams on the same day for max salary or he joins the circus...our buyout is not affected (naturally, this is to the best of my knowledge...but come on, that's pretty good... )

His cap hit to us is from the buy out. Has nothing to do with his new contract with the RangersSomebody refresh my memory, with Johnson signing in NY, we still have part of his cap hit, correct?

Someone brought up that the Caps have $500K space with only 19 on the NHL roster.
Cap dump coming for the Caps.

Between Faulk, Dunn, Krug, and Perunovich...you can't all not play defense...

Re: Crow in NJ. I kinda wonder, if you're gonna go there with an old goalie on that term and that money...you didn't want to call Vegas and say, "eat a buck and a half on Fleury and give us a 2 on top and we'll do it"...? I mean, maybe that wasn't on the table any more, fine...but I think there's more tread on Flower's tires than Crow's...

$4.9 million for Burakovsky seems like an awful lot.

He had a really good year and playoff...but I'm surprised they could only walk him right to free agency at that number...I'd have guessed they bought a UFA year with that tag...

Craig Smith -> Bos 3 × $3.1 mil per or thereabouts. Good utility player. Versatile.

It’s gotta be an ability thing at this point, no? Fleury was really bad last year. Crow was actually pretty good. Some egghead fancy stats said he had the worst help in front of him and performed well above average. So he did admirably in a real bad situation.Re: Crow in NJ.
