Jumbo, who wouldn't even accept a deadline trade out of San Jose to try and win a cup suddenly might leave san jose?

I thought he wanted a trade out for a shot but San Jose couldn't make it work, but it's been so long since the deadline that I wouldnt be surprised if I got that backward.

I really hope Sam Poulin makes the team.

You are fake newsJumbo, who wouldn't even accept a deadline trade out of San Jose to try and win a cup suddenly might leave san jose?
“Yeah, obviously I was willing to go somewhere, and try to win my first Stanley Cup,” Thornton added on Tuesday. “I’ve been dreaming about that ever since I can remember and it just didn’t come to fruition, for whatever reason. I wanted to get something back for the Sharks obviously to help them continue this process with young guys. It just didn’t work out.”

That is what what a lot of us old guys do.Not directing this at anyone specifically, because we want to avoid getting panties in a bunch and feeling getting hurt... Millennial whiny ass dodints... but people need to stop listening to what Rutherford says. He talks, a lot, but doesn't actually say anything.

No on Jumbo. Don't need no more Marleaus or Iginlas. Different, sad stories, all with the same ending.

I guess it's too late/not worth doing separate threads on these signings, eh? That's reasonable...I'm gonna tuck my thoughts into the draft review thread if that's cool, it'll just be easier for me to reference later...I constantly go back through my failures, and the search feature on this board is, well, a lot like our signings...

AHL moves, but I wonder if this means we'll get Casey DeSmith as the backup now considering we still have Emil Larmi and Alex D'Orio (I think) in the A pipeline.

I really don't like Lagace...but hopefully it will never affect me...

I remember when Craig Patrick near the end of his time as Penguins' GM started to acquire players seemingly based on the fact that another guy with the same last name was good. We joked he probably meant to get Derian and not Kevin. Good times. Maybe GMJR is at that stage now.

Fair to say that the biggest missing piece is a strong 3C? Top two lines will be pretty stacked, but easy to play against with a 3rd line that brings nothing.
