Was this inside info, or was it already known publicly on Sunday? I just saw it this morning, although every story mentions he's doing it to raise money for caddies who have been affected by COVID, but no link or that to donate to the cause.

Golf Digest I think had a story on Friday so I had a feeling I knew we’d do it yesterday. But I don’t know anything about the charity. O’Keefe did his caddy training for the movie at Winged Foot.

Yep, the greens are like roller coasters with all the twists and turns and undulations and slopes. It was fun watching guys on the greens today hit putts that would go 10-15 feet past the hole and watch it back up to about 4 feet. You will definitely see guys putt at a 90 degree angle to where the hole is. Hopefully with no fans around, our cameras will give a better idea of the type of slopes that are on these greens. One thing that will be different about this Open is that since it's in September, the greens won't get baked out and lost like the USGA has caused them to do in the past. It's also cool and moist enough that they can hold shots that come in from the rough. But if you're gonna miss anywhere, even on the green, better make sure you miss below the hole.

Just submitted my golfers for the US Open Pool. You can pick any five.

Webb Simpson
Collin Morikawa
Xander Schauffele
Patrick Reed
Jon Rahm
Alternate: DJ

I know it's sacrilege but I feel like I have to go against the grain. DJ is due for a blow up at some point, maybe it will be this weekend. My actual pick to win is Simpson.

that looks like a good list if you are hoping to not have the winner

Well now I know who NOT to pick...

I think DJ wins. I think Morikawa, Schauffele, Cantlay, and Casey are strong contenders. If you’re looking for a longshot to make cut that will be less money in DFS, go with Will Zalatoris. Rahm could be there but I don’t know if he can keep his temperature on chill. Tiger and Phil no shot. I don’t know if Thomas will putt well enough to be there. Dechambeau thinks he can just crush it wherever and wedge it to the green from the rough. Um, no.

I just want to find whoever in the field has the best fairway accuracy and pick them.

DJ has to be the favorite. I like Morikawa, Todd, Xander, maybe even Day from the not-top tier. I'm on the fence on Rory/JT/Rahm.. Covid really ****ed Rory. He was automatic before the shutdown

He had also been stressing about his wife’s pregnancy. I picked him in my one-and-done this week mainly because I’ve used just about everyone else and he had decent success at BMW. He has said that if you need a guy to shoot even or -1, he’s your man. Well, that will more than get it done here.

I have DJ left, I feel like I'd be dumb not to take him. But I also have Rory too.. he's my Augusta pick for now

Is there an over/under on how many players hit a tree here on Thursday?

Pic is a bit distorted. You would have to hit a pop fly to catch any of those trees.

Honestly - no idea. Got a lesson a few weeks ago and my irons have never been better but now I lost my driver. Equal chance duck hook, push fade or striped 280 down the middle

If i had one chance to do it, i probably would let it all hang out and send a piss missile down the fairway. but if you asked me to do that on a regular basis, it would be hell
