That's exactly the mindset I just don't get... I don't think they get any joy over shutting things down and seeing businesses close. Who the f*ck would?
You're right, but my issue is that the moves they made were inconsistent and there was absolutely preferential treatment given if they stood to benefit in any way.

I know multiple (3 or more) small business owners that are shuttering or have shuttered.
I'm not suggesting there wasn't inconsistency. There certainly was. I just don't picture Wolf seeing the doors on businesses closing and him sitting in his office like this:

What sort of preferential treatment? And to who?

I honestly question the mental health of anyone who wants to be an elected official above the school board level. Megalomaniac or nah?

To be fair, I'm also not imagining DeSantis nor Ducey sitting there in July/August, watching their case counts and deaths rise going like this:

I don't think they were happy about people dying any more than Wolf was happy about businesses closing. I guess I just see people differently than Fred.

The ones that have been publicized include wolf's cabinet company and the Carlisle auto show thing. I'm sure there are other friends and family nudge/wink selective enforcement deals.

This is not a partisan opinion. Everyone on both sides is doing it.

I've officially hit peak cranky old man. Our cases on campus has went straight up over the last week and I've done my burbs homework and reported details of the party houses and the University is now sitting down with them to have a talk about their future decisions on having hundreds of people over to partay. Their also appears to be a lawyer on retainer going after the landlords. Looking forward to this war.

Dealing with college kid invincibility complex does not sound even remotely enjoyable.

I appreciate the hopeful news but I'll wait for an actual source. Dude uses all caps and doesn't even have that fancy blue checkmark.

Article says late second quarter, early third quarter there will be enough for everyone with a return to “normalcy” by third quarter.

So that's different than "ALL AMERICANS MAY GET COVID VACCINE BY APRIL!!!"

Late 2Q would be June. 3Q is July - Sept. And that's not every American. Go **** yourself, Walter.

I was in a webinar yesterday with a company that would be in the know and they said best case scenario is Q3 2021, worst case scenario is Q1 2022 for a fully deployed vaccine.
