Music is typically just background noise to me. I mean, I appreciate good music and movie soundtracks, but I’m not going to get all jammed up over it.
But. But. Blade Runner music. Now that’s something I can get behind

Smarter Everyday is one of my favorite YouTubes, and this might be the best thing they've ever done.

Sounds like toxic masculinity. I'm glad you gave it to himKarma is a dodint - obhave addition.
I might have yelled at a tow truck guy today who got under my skin ("listen here you, let me tell you how it is"), told him off and moved my car to a different place. Arrive back at the car and now the car wont start.
That's what I get for yelling at a 70 year old man. 90min waiting to see if he is the one who has been called to help me

Nice! Is it a TedX talk or the big conference TED talk?Holy crikey, I have a friend that's giving a TED Talk.

Unsure, but I think it's the former.
I've seen some BTS stuff from people who have presented before, and they say the Murder Board process for TED is like nothing they've ever done outside that context.

Watching the US open (tennis) right now, with no spectators. The commentators are having issues with the lack of crowd. Normally they make comments about the crowd and support, momentum, all that. Without that, they have resorted to having a 5min convo about how much this guy sweats and why that's probably why he doesn't put tennis balls in his pockets on his serve. This is crazy.

Live sports has been interesting for sure on a lot of levels. I tuned into WWE cause they were one of if not the first to start, in their case, performing again. It was so eerie with no people. Then the cardboard cutouts in baseball. I think hockey has done the best job of making it feel the least weird.
But I never thought of tennis. I'd figure there would be more technique or practical stuff to talk about...

Gateway computers are back.
My first personal purchase of a computer was a Gateway, after my parents buying one for the family years prior. Pretty sure most of my friends had one, too. The price point is very good on them for what appears to be entry level hardware.

Congrats on your newfound sobriety! I have a friend who beat a long alcohol addiction. I think he's 6 years sober now and his life is better than ever.

That's great. Particularly in these times. Stick with it.
