Wonder if you can request a basement table where protestors are less likely to incoherently scream at you and take a swig from your drink.

He gave Beto's a 7.2. I don't care for that non-melted cheese nonsense.

Betos is a decent attempt at the Ohio Valley style. But if you put it in a town that has a bunch of that style, it’d be near the bottom of the list.

How does anyone listen to that guy? I was instantly triggered by his dumb face, but as soon as he outed himself as a Patriots fan and started being a massive chode (is the qualification even needed?), I bailed.

No. You are thinking jioios probably. Julianos is just plain Jane pizza with canned sauce and terrible cheese.

The one in Latrobe went down hill, but the one on Carbon...lets just say the fat sack that encases my heart and is slowly taking years off my life is mostly comprised of their pizza lard. And I don't care because I'm giving them the worst years.

I recommend Royal Myanmar. It's a few storefronts down from DiPietro's in West View. As the name indicates, they serve Burmese/Myanmarese food, which is similar to Thai and nearby cuisines, but with its own twist. This is a family-run place that is clearly using their own authentic recipes.

There were a surprising number of Burmese restaurants in SF/Peninsula area. Like, it seemed there were more Burmese places than ramen places.

I went to a Burmese place in the Mission visiting a friend. They had this chopped salad, which sounds boring, but was so f’ing amazing

Salads are apparently big in Burmese cuisine. One of their unique ones is the pickled-tea-leaf salad. Tons of countries drink tea, but Myanmar from what I understand is just about the only place where they eat the leaves whole. It's pretty darn good.

went to Coop De Ville over the weekend. newest addition to the richard deshantz group portfolio.
for those unaware it is fried chicken with a tiki bar, arcade, coffee bar, and duck pin bowling alley. located in the strip district in the same block that has cioppino and oesteria.

impressions - delicious. i had the road house. mrs litt had nashville. little had deviled egg potato salad and mac and cheese.

the restaurant is a little wonky. there is a 'traditional' bar in the middle of the room when you walk in. you order food at a walk up window and pick up at a take away window on the other side. no servers. the coffee bar is accessible from outside or inside. there is a second room that has arcade games, billiards, duck pin bowling, and tiki bar.

supreme leader wolff would not have been happy with the capacity and lack of social distancing in the restaurant - so be wary.this was at 530 on a saturday too.

Weird seeing people proud of objectively poor choices. You really showed those people in Harrisburg that have never met you and will never now how awesome you are.

Having had Condados on Sunday and Bakersfield tonight, I can confidently say Condados > Bakersfield.
