Francis Ford Coppola will release a re-edited version of his often-maligned The Godfather: Part III that will include a new beginning, new ending, and new title: The Godfather, Coda: The Death of Michael Corleone.

Coppola said the film will better reflect his intentions for the third film in the series, released in 1990, to mark its 30th anniversary. He plans a limited December theatrical release.
Good luck on making it not suck.

I hope he replaces all the guns with walkie-talkies.

The actress who plays Mulan looks about 15 years old. She's actually 33.

Speaking of Mulan, I hope that fails miserably. I don't want the up-charge + sub model to become a thing.

Yeah, but it's still cheaper than taking the family out to the theater. What is it, $37? I think we spent close to $50 for four of us to see a big film on a non-matinee showing. That's just the seats, no food or drinks. And that's to see it once, not own it in perpetuity or whenever Google or Facebook swallows Disney up.

It's tying it to a Disney+ sub that is bad. I understand having to do it OnDemand and I understand the cost. $30 is absolutely fair for a new release OnDemand film. But why tie it to D+?

I worry that if this model succeeds, you just opened the door to "in-app purchases" for streaming services.

If you're looking for a bloody good time I recommend Tonight She Comes on Prime. It takes a lot to make me queasy...

Really? I’ve seen at least two articles today that said it was nothing more than meh.

Well, I’ll wait for your review. I hadn’t planned on watching it after seeing the trailer.

I usually let you watch bad movies for me and then judge my interest based on your complaints.

This would be much better news if he was just starting from scratch. I feel like there could be an interesting story there, but it would involve cutting about half the plot and including Robert Duvall. I guess about 20 years too late now. What a wasted opportunity that third movie was.

Winona showing up and not deciding to cast his daughter would have been immediate improvements.
