That's my bad. I made the statement of "who even thinks to say that if you're not that kind of person." I sparked that debate. I don't think anybody is letting Brennaman off the hook.

man I'll tell you what - that was just another word for weird until about 2008 or so for us and everyone our age. As much as it makes me cringe to think. Then I worked a summer with a gay guy and we learned pretty quickly to just eliminate it from our vocabularies. Brennaman was always dis-likable imo, so it's not terribly sad to see him go
This reminds me of the Office episode where Michael is talking to Oscar about being gay. He says (and I'm paraphrasing):

"Gay used to mean happy back in the day, then it meant you were a stupid loser, and now it means a man likes another mans penis".

Damn. Keyshawn Johnson emerges as the voice of truth:
“I understand certain people have certain values and views about what it is,” he said on Thursday morning. “If you have those values and views, then keep them to your damn self. That’s how you feel, that’s how you feel. You know what you’re ashamed of? You’re ashamed you got caught, that’s what you’re ashamed of.”

That also reminds me of another great Michael quote: "You don't call retarded people retards. It's bad taste. You call your friends retards when they're acting retarded. "

I'm a fan of his in general. Smart dude and planned well for life after football. And I'm not just talking about his ESPN stuff.

I’m not sure I’ve seen a SS steal a hit like this. I couldn’t see where he was positioned, but i don’t think this would be an OF shirt or anything crazy. Just a SS robbing a single by being a freak

I always enjoyed watching Tim Wakefield throw that 58 mph knuckleball and his catchers trying to handle it.

Thats as great a catch as you'll see.

If that were my broadcast team I'd have to give up baseball.

It’s going to be a race for that #1 pick. The Red Sox and Angels are both 9-20. The Pirates are 7-17.

That's crazy. Camera angle sucks but can't really blame them.

Well I happen to notice that the video was taken on the rare occasion he's not on the DL, and that his average is 100 points lower than what the tweet says

Looks like MLB postponing games also. Guess with no in person fans it's easy to postpone sports.

Vin is the best. Loved listening to him late at night. He was very good right up until he retired.
