Same. Sounds like he kept it very private.I didn't even know he had cancer.
Man, he was one of my favorite actors/characters in that entire franchise.
He was great as Jackie in 42 too. This really sucks.

Don't wait. I just had my 20ish one done this week. Saved my life having one about 15 years ago.Pretty young for colon cancer, too. I get to look forward to early screens for that starting at 40. Runs bad on my dad's side.

I had a screening last year and came out clear. Guy in the room next to me wasn’t so lucky. You would think a hospital would have a better way of telling somebody this kind of news in a more private way.

50 is the typical recommended age for your first colonoscopy if you are average risk (no family history, nonsmoker, not doing that "stuff", etc.) This makes me want to start going at 40.

I thought it was 40. Honestly, it should be 30 or 35. Don't put it off people.50 is the typical recommended age for your first colonoscopy if you are average risk (no family history, nonsmoker, not doing that "stuff", etc.) This makes me want to start going at 40.

My doctor told me at my 40 year-old check up that since there is zero family history I shouldn't get one until I am 50.
