Not if that herd immunity threshold is 10-30% as that article states. You might have regional outbreaks where that level wasn't hit, but based on several models the USA is already around 13% infected. So our densely populated areas have already been hit hard.

Best we can hope for is that its another one of those 4-6 week growth phases that doesnt get quite as high as this last one.Yup. Inevitable, really. Might not be as bad since our first wave was pretty bad, but school is going to spread this thing even worse. Just the nature of things.I dont see how there isnt another outbreak or at least a swell once schools and colleges start

Oh man. So sorry to hear that. It's crazy how this hits people differently. If mine stays as is, it's not too bad. But I've heard stories where you feel fine, then it gets worse.My aunt passed away yesterday after testing positive a month ago.
